She pauses in her work to turn and look at him like he's insane (which she probably gives him this look often enough for him to recognize it at this point).
"Yes. I would protest. I'm not going to be fixing things while you're training and causing them to break down more. That would be counter productive."
And maybe it would be a little distracting too but she'll keep that thought to herself as she turns back to her work.
